She is heading out west in May and I couldn’t be more excited for her.
Alex, for those of you who may not know, is my girlfriend of nearly 5 months.
She is a student in the Pharm D program here at Purdue and will be moving out to Colorado for the summer to work for SmartPharma, LLC in a pharmaceutical marketing internship position.
I wasn’t disappointed in the least because I wouldn’t be seeing her as frequently, I was filled with nothing but excitement.
She was the one I approached/talked to first about switching tracks from attending Purdue to become an aeronautical engineer to becoming a professional photographer.
The minute I told her, she asked not what she was going to do now that I would no longer be in school and potentially be away from West Lafayette, but what she could do to help me.
And in this situation where she just secured the job she has been going after for a long time and is starting down her track – I couldn’t be anything but excited.
The feature photo to this post was taken on the day we filmed my Patreon video. She helped me shoot that entire video start to finish and it really would have taken me all day without her ideas, suggestions, help setting the focus for each shot, and pressing the record button.
On the eve of Valentines Day Alex, I just wanted to say thanks for being there for me during my recent transition, congrats your upcoming opportunity this summer, and I am very excited to be along for the ride with you.
