Last night I drove up from Purdue to go to the John Mayer concert with my Mom, Dad, and sister Peyton. What an awesome night. Here are some of my favorite photos.
The concert was epic. His stage was even more epic.
Thanks to my parents, I have listened to John as far back as I can remember. The first song I can remember listening to was “3×5” on his Room for Squares album.
While he didn’t play much of his old music, it was cool to see that not too much has changed in his style since that first album.
Here are some of my favorite photos from his final song of the night, “You’re gonna live forever in me.”
Just him and his piano.

His stage looked almost like an Apple advertisement how it was all white, illuminated by LEDs.
His guitar solos were incredible and I had my hands on the side of my head in disbelief at multiple points in the concert.
It is really cool to watch passionate people doing what they love, really well.
My final, and favorite moment:
He walked to the back of the stage and appeared to disappear into the stage wall. What an exit.
