the Point Betsie Light is, without a doubt, in my top 5 favorite places I’ve ever been.

It brings a new challenge and shows a completely different face every time I visit.

I struggled hard core to get a photo from this exact spot last night with the starry skies. The wind was straight out of the West and waves were pummeling the shoreline sending mist way up in the air and giving Tom and I a good dousing. The mist proved a problem for clear night photos, but I think one might’ve just turned out. Will have to dive in when I get home from this trip.
