SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket lifting off from LC-39A in Florida. This mission was carrying the NASA Psyche payload, venturing to journey to the Asteroid Belt (area between Mars and Jupiter as you go out from the Sun) and study metal rich asteroid ’16 Psyche.’ The spacecraft will arrive at the asteroid in 2029.

Relativity Space’s 3D-printed Terran 1 rocket lifts off on March 22, 2023 at 11:25 p.m. EDT. Viewed from the roof of the historic blockhouse at Launch Complex 16 in Cape Canaveral, the fortified and tens-of-feet-thick concrete bunkers where they used to control launches from, I captured the first methalox rocket in the West to reach space taking off. Thanks to the personnel with Relativity who ensured I was able to safely capture this historic picture!
