Month Top:

Nighttime view of Terran 1 on the launch pad. In person, the scene was dark as night. Only with the brief flickering of the nearby methane flare stack was anything visible to the naked eye.

It was only with long-exposure (my favorite) was I able to reveal the beauty of the stars, rocket, and reflections of the scene. I love long exposures!

Month bottom:

People in the foreground, rocket in the background. This mission was special because it launched on my birthday! In my ten years or so chasing rockets so far, I’ve only had one birthday launch and this one made for a pretty spectacular candle.
